A member of the Porter Henry & Company staff since the seventies, Warren became President in 1985 and CEO in 1995. He has comprehensive experience in every facet of training development, including needs analyses, training, manager development, custom project design, strategy, and long‑range planning. Starting as a sales rep for Republic Steel Company, Warren joined Anken Chemical and Film Corporation, progressing quickly from Sales Representative to Branch Manager, Regional Manager, and then to Division Manager. In his last assignment, he built the largest and most profitable Division in the company.
Prior to joining Porter Henry, Warren created a company, Education Research, which focused on sales training, generic training simulations, aids, and tools. Warren is a member of The Professional Society for Sales & Marketing Training, ASTD, the Instructional Systems Association, and is a frequent speaker at conventions and national sales meetings. He has published articles in Training Magazine, Sales and Marketing Management, and ASTD Journal. Warren also authored an award-winning book, The Sales Strategist: 6 Breakthrough Strategies to Win New Business. Currently, he is completing a new book for sales managers, From Sales Manager to Sales Leader. He holds a B.A. degree from Duke University and a Master's degree in marketing from the New York University Graduate School of Business.
Warren has produced results in hundreds of design/writing/training assignments for clients of all sizes including Pepsi-Cola, NAPA Auto, Dannon Yogurt, Chubb Insurance, Tumi, Nabisco, Novartis, MicroStrategy, and many others in almost every industry.
