Moral Philosophy: The Underpinning of Ethics

THIS EVENT IS IN THE PAST

Thursday 11:00 AM PDT
until
12:00 PM PDT Duration: 1 hour

Webinar Highlights

Ethics are a system of moral principles that help us define right and wrong behavior. While right and wrong behavior often seem obvious, why are there so many small- and large-scale ethical failures in business?

This webinar will provide an overview of the concept of moral philosophy, the study of the meaning and justification of moral claims, which evaluate the rightness or wrongness of an action or a person’s character.

Along the way we will explore some of the concepts used in making ethical business decisions, and review how fairness, integrity, due diligence, and fiduciary responsibility impact ethical decision making.
