In this course we explore the nature and complexity of crisis containment and how this can be addressed using a constructive and transformative toolkit that leads to crisis resolution. This leads to a conversation about the tools needed to support individuals through the cognitive, emotional, behavioral and social dynamics of sense-making process and how to influence the sense giving process to communicate problem solving and shape the narrative.
Then we explore how to navigate the three stages of crisis containment: crisis onset, crisis stabilization and crisis resolution. This course serves to examine how leaders need to take responsibility for containing the crisis situation and what tools are needed to organize a response which leads to crisis resolution.
