In this course we examine the first important decision that needs to be made in business operations management, process flow and capacity management. We will start with a brief overview of what process flow and capacity management is and the consequences of getting it wrong. This leads to a conversation about how to appropriately configure organizational resources to ensure the right levels capacity to serve customer cost effectively. Then we explore the factors that influence process flow and capacity management.

This course serves to build upon the relationship between process flows and capacity of an operation, the volume of output and profitability.
