In this course, we discuss how Organization Development (OD) helps the people within an organization develop vision, understanding, clarity, and agility.

We start with a brief overview of the OD perspective of the organization as a human system. This leads to a conversation about how the OD practitioner works within that system to facilitate the creation of a healthy and effective organization. Then we explore the role of the OD practitioner in impacting the system as a catalyst and an irritant.  This course serves to demonstrate how OD can be used to support people playing an active role in driving positive organizational change.

As there is no prerequisite for this course, I was hoping that the language used would be less academic and simplified. There were areas in the course where complex language was used that could have just been simply broken down to aid a learner to understand the concepts a little bit more. It would have been good to have some real-life examples throughout.

This course requires you to listen to every word the Instructor speaks because the material she discusses is not included on the slides. There were many times she referred to "steps to take" for OD, but did not presents those on any slides. Luckily, this was a refresher course for me, otherwise I would not be able to memorize everything she said.

This course provided an in-depth overview of organizational development as well as how to properly apply the key concepts to make meaningful change with an organization. The instructor presented materials in an engaging and informative manner, and the supporting materials were incredibly helpful to follow along with.

Unfortunately this class was very hard to stay focused on. I was looking forward to it and unfortunately it was not something I would be able to recall anything other than what I knew about Organizational Development to begin with. Good person and knows her stuff; but, very hard to stay focused on the topic.

This course was informative and engaging. The instructor spent time covering pertinent details and ensuring that the key concepts were clearly apparent. This course gave me a much better understanding of how I could positively roll out change in my organization.

Wonderful in-depth overview; due to the amount of information provided, I suggest pausing the slides to re-read and more fully take in what was heard; instructor is long-winded at times, but the content is excellent and worth a disciplined effort in listening.

This course provided great foundational information. I typed out a lot of notes that I plan to turn into my own little OD handbook. Thanks a lot! I'm looking forward to the remaining classes in the OD course load.

This course has a lot of information on OD that is well-systemized. Instructor was monotonous it felt like she was reading from a book. It made it harder to memorize and understand the materials.

Having a general picture of how to apply OD theories and being able to reflect how it would work or not work in my current work place. Very practical course, i would say that surprised me.

Content forms a great introduction to OD however explanation of the core theories and approaches were too theoretical and lacked real life applications to better internalise understanding

Great overview of the relevant theories! Even though I have heard of much already in previous courses at my University, this course really served as a great refresher!

This is a great course One suggestion - perhaps the trainer could have shared some personal example in applying some of the theories to past clients or workplaces

This course would have been more effective if the instructor included examples of applying all of these theories and practices to an actual company.

Good concepts and theories, but course felt like having a text book read out loud. Real life examples would help to drive home the concepts.

Too much theory and information to listen to. Use of case studies to illustrate the theories will be easier to absorb and understand.

There were many problems with one of the tests question. It was presented to me as Question #5. I tried to paste a screenshot, but couldn't.

Identify two key premises of Dialogic Organization Development (OD) :
Choose one:

- Language is Irrelevant
- Groups and organizations are inherently self-organizing (this is the only correct answer, which is good because it will only let you choose 1 even though the directions say t identify 2)
- Transformation Change is always planned
- All of the Above (this should be removed as a choice if the question asks you to identify
2 items.)
