In this course we discuss how Shared Services for Finance has migrated from an emphasis on cost control and efficiencies to a focus on value creation.
We start with a brief overview of Shared Services and how it has evolved. We explore the pros and cons of moving to a Shared Services model and some of the potential pitfalls. Then we examine the transition to a Shared Services approach as part of a change management effort, and how to identify and engage with key partners and stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes.
