In this course we develop the capability of the L&D professional to contribute to the formation of people resource responses to the organization context. We start with a brief overview of the internal and external environment exploring key environmental trends and how to use that information to develop an understanding of the L&D needs of the workforce.
This leads to a conversation about the theory and practice of Learning and Development and its relationship to strategic responses to the market and competitive environment. Then we explore how to use this information and knowledge effectively to make decisions in response to context.
This course serves to enable the L&D practitioner to increase credibility and influence at senior levels in the organization.
