Basics, but still a helpful course. This also has reasonable review and testing elements.

I was hoping this would cover more everyday scenarios. It's led with the assumption that we're all making presentations as part of our role. It also feels like she was paid by the minute, because it's very drawn out. Sometimes it felt like she was talking to us like we were grade-schoolers. There were multiple times I worried my connection was having issues because she paused so long in between sentences.

This course served as a good refresher for applying critical thinking skills to properly identify your target audience as well as understanding their interests. The facilitator presented content in a meaningful way and included several examples to reiterate key concepts in the workplace. Good supporting materials were provided as well.

Great course! I am definitely going to go back and review the techniques taught in this course. The instructor explains how to influence different groups and types of people and lays out a framework for applying what she teaches. She also explains what not to do which is sometimes more important than what to do.

Educational and well presented. Presenter keeps it interesting through tone of voice and slides, not reading directly from slides, but expanding. Felt as if it was live which was great. Would recommend to anyone working with multiple levels of an organization and in a potential position of influence.

Very well laid out presentation approach on how to influence by knowing people's information processing mode; the key points to include in oral & written presentations; how to comport oneself with chain of command in the organization. Presenter had good examples to communicate the points.

I really appreciated the tools provided in this course - how to evaluate if my initiative is really adding strategic value and how to communicate projects updates was really helpful. The presenter used real-life examples to illustrate her points which really brought concepts home for me.

I enjoyed the videos on how to be seen as a strategic leader. Often in my role, I am so concerned with what I think priorities should be that I forget to focus on what executive leadership priorities are, as they might have a bigger picture than I do as to where the company is headed.

This was a great class and I have great takeaways for daily practice. I am sometimes very concerned about presenting facts and don't necessarily stop to think about what is important to the people I am presenting to. Great information!

Course provides a few good nuggets of information however, seems to be very slowly spoken making the course take much longer to go through than the volume of material would seem to support.

Not a bad presentation; great information about how to become a better influencer in the training department. Better to turn the objectives to the person and profitability of the company.

Understanding the Who and Why their objective, not yours is what's most important. How your key stakeholders process the information is key to understanding how you can influence them.
