This course provides an explanation of what liability insurance is and how a corporation can acquire liability insurance to protect it. A corporation needs protections from potential risks as a result of claims of: bodily injury; property damage; or, various events called personal injury. Protection from liability is gained through the use of an insurance agent, and insurance broker, dealing with a direct writing insurer or by use of the expertise of a corporate employed or independent risk manager.
