Digitalization is the social implications of increased computer-assistance, new media and communications platforms for economy, society and culture.
Example: Analyzing data collected by internet-connected devices to find new revenue streams.
Digital Transformation is the implementation of technology, software and programs to accomplish a procedural outcome with little or no human interference.
This course delves into these terms and how the advance organization towards true digital transformation. We also discuss some of the advantages and disadvantages of each process as well as provide some examples of current software available for these processes.
