Conflict is not a dirty word, though it often brings up images of fists pounding, the screech of hysterics, and the resentment that comes when blame is carelessly splashed on the guilty and innocent alike.
Yet in reality, conflict and creative ways of dealing with it can help teams to become stronger, more aligned in their work, and open to feedback, all of which ensures successful ongoing interactions and projects.
This course presents an approach using specific conflict resolution techniques and the science behind their effectiveness. Upon this foundation we go on to build skills in using conflict managing techniques and investigate 2 case studies each of which highlights a different aspect of the challenge of conflict management.
Completing this course will give you tools to leverage conflict more effectively in any situation, and will begin to build those new muscles around listening and perspective-taking that will keep your conflicts productive and sources of growth instead of fear and confusion.
