In this course we discuss the critical components necessary to communicating effectively with top executives. Communication is the lifeblood of any organization and the Human Resources (HR) professionals who master the ability to communicate effectively with top executives quickly build their reputations, enhance their strategic opportunities, and build a collaboration that elevates organizational job performance, productivity, and profitability.
We start by exploring the complexity of the executive’s role and the uniqueness of that executive. This is part of the 3D model of communication discussed in the introductory course. We then move to recognizing the value of being concise and direct in dealing with tactical issues. Lastly, we discover opportunities for Human Resources to provide value on that sought after strategic level, creating radical change.
