Lynn Fountain is an engaging speaker who in her teachings of the traits of a "great manager" made me look at myself and want to be a great manager. She not only gave slides but within each powerpoint slide, she provided great and insightful illustrations that reinforced how being a great manager can contribute towards a winning team work environment. I loved her illustration about the how the broom person on a curling team serves as the perfect metaphor for what a great manager achieves: removes the obstacles out of the way to allow the team to best achieve their objectives. Great course!!!

What an awesome topic and great information and presentation. I highly recommend this training, not only for managers already but all individuals who aspire to become a manager. The viewpoint are really amazing to hear and needed to be applied, so that each organization/company can have great managers, because I think that is a key for employees retention and future goals are often achieved.

Another good course by this instructor. In this course some of the material seems like it covers the obvious about being a good manager but as we know there are plenty of managers that are not skilled leaders. This course can help anyone to identify what skills and traits make the best leaders.

Fair course with general tips. The average rating is due to the generalities and lack of actionable advice. In my opinion, it could have been more focused on advice with less time spent caveating how there are different ways to do things.
