Russ Harju

Russ Harju, CMA, FP&A, CTP, CIA is a corporate finance leader, with experience in FP&A, Internal Audit, Risk Control, and Compliance Examinations. His first experience with Finance was aboard a Nuclear Submarine, in the US Navy – working as a Supply Logistics / Inventory Control specialist for 4 years. Following his time in the Navy, Russ worked in a variety of industries ranging a finance regulatory agency, an energy marketing firm, and a Fortune 200 food manufacturer. He is currently serving as a Senior Manager – Commercial Finance for a Dairy Cooperative whose members generate one-third of the annual US Milk production, leading to over $14.7 Billion in annual sales.

In addition to his experience with large corporations, Russ is also familiar with smaller startup organizations. He was a founder of a laundry delivery startup and is currently serving as a financial advisor to a product management consulting firm.

Russ obtained his B.S. in Finance from the University of Illinois – Chicago and has since continued his education by obtaining certifications from the: Institute of Management Accountants (CMA), Association of Finance professionals (FP&A), and Institute of Internal Auditors (CIA). In addition to his professional certifications Russ is also dedicated to obtaining deep system knowledge and is a QuickBooks ProAdvisor, and a certified Anaplanner.
