Diane is the leader of Sklar Advisors L.L.C. as well as a Professor of Information Systems. She is an advisory professional with deep "Big 4" consulting and training experience. Her expertise is in defining and enhancing business process and controls, aligning information technology with business initiatives, and presenting and instructing on systems, process and controls related topics. Diane led the PwC private company practice in the NY metro region due to her ability to apply her experience from working with public companies to tailor processes and controls for private organizations. Her experience includes performing detailed assessments of systems, business processes, assisting in the selection and implementation of applications, leading the development and implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley compliance programs, performing IPO readiness assessments and developing client specific process documentation and flowcharts.
Diane has also authored sections of Law Firm Accounting and Financial Management and the Handbook of EDP Auditing, written by PwC and published by Warren, Gorham & Lamont. For the last several years she has also been an adjunct professor at Fairfield University in Connecticut instructing courses on Information systems.
Clients have included large, public multi-nationals as well as small private companies in the Consumer Products, Retail and Manufacturing industries.
