Webinar Highlights

The session includes presentations from all teams related to Equity and Stock-based Compensation. The teams include Technical Accounting, HR Comp, Global Equity Management, Equity Accounting, third pay vendor (Morgan Stanley and Solium), Corp FP&A, FINPMO teams. The topics of the sessions include current reporting process for both Alphabet and OBs, tax accounting treatments & technical knowledge for SBC, compensation plan design, SBC forecast process, etc.


Participants will learn about Equity, Stock-based Compensation related knowledge and process. This includes tax, reporting, comp plan design, and forecast related process. The session also includes any SAP impact and automation projects updates and knowledge sharing.



Speakers

Simona Paduraru - Global Equity Management team, Google LLC

Simona joined Google in June 2016. Her role within the Global Equity Management team focuses on equity compliance, mobility and M&A. Her areas of expeise include implementation of tax compliance programs, educating Googlers around the globe in relation to the tax consequences of their equity compensation and complexities around mobility equity rules. Prior to joining Google, Simona specialized in expatriate taxation and cross border incentive compensation within the International Assignment Services at PwC.


Steve Mothes - Global Equity Management (GEM)

Steve Mothes joined Alphabet in March 2019. He is a member of the Global Equity Management team and is responsible for Other Bets' equity programs, executive programs and support, and managing the AutoSale program. Prior to joining Alphabet, Steve worked for the Executive Services team at Fidelity Investments, focusing on executive equity compensation, insider transactions, and reporting.
