This was a very comprehensive overview. It covered a lot of topics in a short period of time. I appreciate the comprehensiveness. Would break it up into more than one presentation to allow more in depth coverage like adding scenarios. Comparison charts or examples to visualize the effect of tax law changes.

Hollywood review = the book was better than the movie. That is unless you prefer to have someone read tax tables to you as well as excerpts of IRS code. It also includes a lot of coverage of provisions that it details as not part of the act so I am not sure why we are devoting the time to things that didn't happen.

A lot of information and well organized. However, the presenter read a lot of material that was not included in the course / slides. This information would have been helpful to include in the slides for reference. Hard to remember details told to you verbally in a 2 hour course.

too much time spent going into details on the tax tables. time spent on provisions not included seemed like they should have been based on time spent. Cleaner to say there were proposals of x that didnt make the bill and focus in detail only on those that matter

Good course. I gleaned some learning. I wish he didn’t read all of the numbers from the tables. That had no value except to make the training longer and maybe earn more CPE. I would rather he say, “look at the table. Did you notice X?”

This is a good overall reminder on many topics that are relevant to 2022 rules. I definitely knew much of it, but appreciated the reminder on some of the less common items. Also knowing what is applicable when. Good refresher.

Overall the course was informative. I would have liked to see more real life examples throughout the course. At times, it felt like he was just reading the provisions rather than teaching us to understand the provisions.

Again there was confusing wording on the final exam. In the question about the tax bracket for married taxpayers filing separately, it is unclear if each taxpayer has $150k of income or if $150k is their joint income.

There was much to absorb here - I will go through this course again to maximize my benefits from it. It was presented in a matter-of-fact manner - very organized with much material covered.

Good quick summary - as others have said, don't love spending time on changes that almost took place (though it does provide some context into rationale for why changes did occur).

This was a very great synopsis of the tax cuts and jobs act. It's better to listen then to read. He speaks clearly and I found that easier to follow then trying to read along?

Too much reading the various tax brackets. The other areas covered seemed sufficient and easy to follow. Presentation organized and informative????????

Instructors approach to explaining the changes for 2023 due to the TCJA is very good. He makes the current treatment very easy to understand.

Presentation was incredibly dry and unentertaining, even with the understanding that it was related to tax matters.

The PDF and the screen shots do not match the video. It makes it hard to follow along and/or take notes.

Presenter is easy to listen to but, the course needs real world examples - not just reading tax brackets.

Based on the title, I expected the focus to be on tax law 2024....and not prior years
