25 Illumeo Courses meet the Identity Management Institute (IMI) standards for Certified Red Flag Specialist CPE. Certified professionals must earn continuing education (IMI), adhere to the IMI code of ethics, and be active members.

By our reading of this standard we believe learners can count their professionally relevant, verifiable learning activities on Illumeo, including taking on demand courses and attending live webinars, toward fulfillment of their verifiable CRFS CPE requirements. However, if there is any question, we recommend that the individual learner confirm with his/her professional licensing organization before taking Illumeo courses for CRFS CPE credit.

You can download your certificates as pdfs or email them to yourself at any time. All CPE/CPD certificates earned through Illumeo will be available through this dashboard.

CRFS CPE Requirements and Illumeo Learning Activities

According to the IMI Standard for Certified Red Flag Specialist CPE, CRFSs must attain and report a minimum of sixty (60) CPE hours for every 3 year period and at least 15 hours each year. Each hour of qualified activity is considered one hour of CPE and may be applied to more than one certification. CPE may include activities as they relate to Critical Risk Domains (CRD) for this certification.

Critical Risk Domains

The following Critical Risk Domains (CRDs) are developed by IMI and define the specific areas used for CRFS training, testing and certification:

  • Identity Theft Overview
  • Risk Assessments
  • Identity Theft Red Flags
  • Identity Theft Prevention Program
  • Layered Security Controls
