This course covers the importance of the Schedule of Expenditures of Federal Awards or SEFA as it relates to governmental auditors. This training discusses how the SEFA is an important guide which helps auditors make decisions about which programs to audit. Auditors are required to deeply understand the SEFA in order to efficiently determine which programs to test. The SEFA also assures that funding agencies know that their funding amounts were included in the Single Audit.
