In this course we discuss the importance of enabling individual employees to do things fabulously well to help the organization achieve its strategic goals. We begin with a brief overview of the purpose of performance management to give both managers and employees a clear and consistent system within which to work that, in turn, will lead to increased productivity. This leads to a conversation about developing systems that shows employees the pathway to success, allowing for the measuring of performance coupled with feedback and offers opportunities for career and personal development opportunities.
Then we explore the development of a performance reward program that incentivizes accomplishment. This course examines how an organization can create an environment of engagement that boosts performance-related business outcomes.
